Hello! My name's Sónia Alves and I am a visual designer based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Design is my passion and has been since I can remember. I’ve always been captivated by the power that imagery has on communication and its impact on the people it touches.

Unique is a solid brand in the health & beauty industry. The main focus was to improve their online presence, with a responsive website that would reflect the brands' luxurious concept and give it a "Unique" identity.
We’ve contacted Agileweb to redesign our old website and we are most pleased with the result! The new version is intuitive, clear and fully mobile ready. The "Vet Alta" project consisted in a complete website redesign to update the site structure, responsiveness and give the brand a modern design. The goal was to improve engagement through a renovated and welcoming look & feel.

The purpose of this project was to convey all the concepts that refer to the Portuguese countryside region in a stunning online presence. The new website is now mobile ready and exudes the charming atmosphere that can be found in Monte do Ramalho.
The concept behind this project consisted in developing a design that could function as a template, with the purpose to be cloned and included as part of a service provided by ECOnLOCAL to its clients. The main challenge was to make it fully customisable, so that each new site could have a distinct charm and appeal.

A strong concept is only possible to achieve with a clear insight about your identity, market and your competitors. In order to present you with a layout, we'll start by dedicating some time to research.
Also, before starting, we'll ask you for all the project materials: Logo, text, photos and navigation structure.
This is the creative stage, where all that information comes together visually. You'll receive a design proposal for the first design review.
All projects have 3 free design reviews. Be as clear as you can to communicate your ideas, thoughts or any necessary changes.
With the final design approved, we'll implement the last changes and final settings. With those in place your new site will be ready to launch.
Yes, we can discuss the implementation of a Content Management System (CMS) on your website, so that you can have access to the site content.
This will allow you to keep your site updated or include a blog if you'd like, but the access to the layout will be restricted, in order to keep the site integrity and prevent any loss of functionality.
You are free to choose whatever hosting solution you'd like. If you decide to host your site on your server or with another provider, I'll send you all the project files & coding, ready to be published on your server or to be delivered to a developer.
If you decide to keep the hosting and maintenance with me, we can agree on a monthly subscription to cover all the technicalities such as: hosting, maintenance, backups & platform updates.
To launch your project we require a 50% deposit (based on the total cost) and a signed contract. This will reserve your place in our project schedule.
When the final design is approved, you'll receive an invoice requesting the final 50±% payment. Site delivery to follow immediately after payment.
We use Paypal as our preferred payment method.
If you don't have a Paypal account or prefer other payment option instead, let us know and we will find another payment solution.
